Wisteria has been grown since the fifth century in Chinese garden. It is a fast growing, woody vine belonging to the legume family.
This collection was inspired by Utagawa Hiroshige II (1826-1869), a Japanese printer and color-print artist of the ukiyo-e school.

He describes his work as "copies of nature" since his work is created directly from natural elements. Working closely with museums like The National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC, Victoria & Albert Museum in London, The National Gallery in London.
